Learning how to prepare fresh ingredients with chef Aaron Chamberlain of St. Francis? Tastings with chef Jen Anderson of Windsor? Recipes from the Queen of Sweet, Tracy Dempsey? This summer is gonna be face-time fabulous thanks to the Summer Chef Series at the Phoenix Public Market.

From 2 to 4 p.m., on Saturdays from July 23 to September 3, inside the Phoenix Public Market, a well-known Valley chef will share their unique theme on summertime deliciousness with a two-hour cooking class including tastings, two beverages, and take-home recipes.

Each two-hour class is $45 with proceeds going toward the Phoenix Public Market and Devour Phoenix.

Summer Chef Series Schedule

Tudie Frank-Johnson of D’licious Dishes Saturday, July 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. Tudie Frank-Johnson from D’licious Dishes will help us beat the heat with Popcorn Crawfish Salad – spicy, fried crawfish tails tossed with market greens & baby tomatoes; Achiote Marinated Chicken Breast on the grill with Cucumber Salsa; and a Pecan crusted Texas Sheet Cake for dessert. Aaron Chamberlain of St. Francis Saturday, July 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. Aaron Chamberlain from St. Francis will be preparing fresh, healthy summer favorites and will share tips on keeping a stocked pantry to maximize your time in the kitchen. Make it fresh, make it fast, make it great!

Chrysa Robertson of Rancho Pinot Saturday, August 6, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Doug Robson of Gallo Blanco Saturday, August 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. Doug Robson from Gallo Blanco will share techniques on preparing fresh salsa and will show us how to make perfect-for-summer ceviche and quinoa salad.
