Unexpected Farewell to Radio Cafe

Radio Cafe, we hardly knew ya.

I mean that literally, as the restaurant just opened a little more than a month ago, and I hadn’t had a chance to dine there. Tonight is its last night as a full-service restaurant before it becomes a space for special events.

Previously, the eatery had been called Radio Milano. After a three-week hiatus for renovations, LGO Hospitality reopened it as a new concept. The Italian spin was gone, replaced by a variety of new dishes like sushi, seafood poke salad, and a shortrib sandwich. It also had an expanded beverage program and a more loungey vibe.

LGO Hospitality founder and president Bob Lynn tells me that the restaurant space will now be used for special events; seven are already booked.
