Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Urban Beans Urban Picnic
Tonight at 6:30 p.m., folks at Urban Beans Coffee Bar are switching it up and hosting a wine dinner. Four course of food will be paired with four different wines from four different wineries for $45 ++ per person. The evening starts with tilapia and sea scallop ceviche, then continues with a selection of locally grown roasted veggies served over a quinoa and greens with a basalmic glaze. The main course features a Schreiner’s brat with carmelized onions, red cabbage marmalade and mustard. For dessert, indulge in a piece of lavender cake and fruits skewers covered in hazelnut cream and caramel. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 602-595-2244.

Puppy Dog Treats
Your dog loves you. Show him/her that you love him/her back with a batch of homemade doggie treats. Made with ingredients that you more then likely already have in your pantry, your little furry friend will love these homemade treats. We like to add a little bit of natural peanut butter and oatmeal to the mix to jazz them up a little. If you really want to make them special, frost them with melted white chocolate (’cause it’s not really chocolate) or peanut butter chips.
