Last month, Chipotle was hacked. Malware was remotely installed at over 60 Phoenix locations and nearly 80 locations around the state, which allowed hackers access to customer names, credit and debit card numbers, expiration dates, and verification codes. The hacking occurred at various times between March 24 and April 18.

As of May 26, all the malware has been removed; however, if you visited a Chipotle in the last month, you might want to double-check your bank statements and credit report for unusual activity, or call the Chipotle helpline at 888-738-0534 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. for further information about the incident.
