The dining companion and I were hit with the Friday night sushi craving and decided to head east to Chandler. We order a couple of their fancy rolls and an order of the blue fin tuna (yeah yeah endangered blah blah). The ASU roll arrived covered in spicy jalapenos, the orange blossom was a fish overload with thick chunks of tuna and thin sliced salmon. Both were satisfying but after sampling a plate of succulent blue fin it was hard to eat anything else. If you ever see blue fin on a menu, I highly recommend trying it especially if the joint serves fresh, real wasabi ( no the green paste is NOT real wasabi). Do you know where I’m eating?

Last week, I have one of the most disappointing meals at Tempe’s Plaza Bonita. Hopefully I just ordered the wrong thing and might consider making another trip purely because it’s in my zip code and the chips and salsa were above average. Not a single one of your many guesses were even close to correct. So once again no one gets anything. Thanks for playing. See you next week.
