Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
A Phoenix-area woman says she found a tiny lizard in her latte at a Starbucks inside Fry’s on 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road.
According to ABC 15, the lizard was found in Kim Dillon’s sugar-free latte. When Dillon discovered the small critter — which she claims went into her mouth — she brought it back to the store, where the Fry’s staff apologized.
A spokesman for the store told ABC15 that it’s looking into the incident and has consulted with a pest control company.
The store scored an “A” and received no violations in a recent routine inspection from the county’s health department last month.
