$15,000

If you have a favorite local chef or bartender, you can show him or her some love with a nomination for the 2016 Ripe Awards. Public nominations are being accepted through tomorrow, Friday, June 17, and can be submitted through the Ripe Awards website.

The Ripe Awards is entering its fourth season of honoring rising stars in the local restaurant scene, and this year’s ceremony will take place on July 30 at the Phoenix Art Museum. Representatives from the Phoenix Art Museum and the Arizona Republic will select this year’s winners based on the public nominations, and attendees of the awards ceremony will be able to sample the winners’ food and drinks, as well as locally made wines.

To purchase tickets to the event or to nominate a local chef or bartender, visit the Ripe Awards website.

Early bird tickets are available for $55, and will jump to $65 at the start of July.
