Frasher's Smokehouse

Frasher’s Smokehouse is a Southern-inspired barbecue restaurant and bar from long-time Valley restaurateur George Frasher, previously of Frasher’s Steakhouse & Lounge in Scottsdale. The Arcadia restaurant delivers a laidback roadhouse ambiance, and smokes its own meats on an on-site. But even with its own smoker, the kitchen fails to deliver a consistent stream of succulent, juicy barbecued meats. Barbecue sauces are served separately, and many cuts are delivered with little or no seasoning. Tri-tip can be wan, tough and chewy, and the brisket is missing the lush, succulent flavors of a carefully, slow-cooked cut. Babyback ribs, which are coated in a sticky-sweet sauce, are a more palatable option. Barbecued chicken breast and turkey, although a bit dry, are seasoned and moist enough to be enjoyed on their own.
