Thirsty Camel at The Phoenician

It's hard to tell where the The Phoenician's lobby ends and the Thirsty Camel Lounge begins, mostly because the view from both is so stunning. From the lounge's terrace, visitors can see Scottsdale Waterfront, the Papago Hills, South Mountain, and even the San Tan Mountains, not to mention the thousands of palm trees that dot the landscapes in between. On the patio, you can recline near the roaring fires, while inside the bar, you can catch the sounds of live jazz and eye the booze stored in the gigantic liquor cabinet. Arrive around dusk to catch one of Phoenix's trademarked sunsets and watch as the mountains give way to city lights.
