All we had to hear were the words "Raspberry Lace Buttermilk Pie," and we were out the door and on our way to our favorite bakery, which also happens to serve some of the very best breakfast and lunch food in town, bar none. In the morning, we like the Taylor Ham and Egg Sandwich, which combines scrambled eggs, ham and Swiss cheese on a buttered Ciabatta. When we're feeling especially angry at our diet, we go straight for the Cinnamon Raisin Nut French Toast, which brings together whole wheat cinnamon raisin and nut bread and eggs with sweet, creamy butter and hot maple syrup like we've never known.
