An estimated 1,400 stores across the U.S. are taking part in this annual celebration of independent record stores—a tradition that’s been spinning since 2008. (Fun fact: the late Brian Faber, former owner of Zia Records, was one of Record Store Day’s original co-founders.)
More than a dozen shops across the Valley will join the party, with music fans lining up before dawn for a shot at scoring RSD 2025 exclusives. This year’s coveted releases include titles from Charli XCX, Rage Against the Machine, Gorillaz and Lil Uzi Vert. Taylor Swift is also dropping a white vinyl 7-inch of her 2024 track “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone—a must-grab for Swifties and collectors alike.
