The Van Buren contains multitudes. Within its 20,000-square-foot historic property, the downtown Phoenix concert spot is part music venue, part time capsule and all vibe. There’s a bust of an esteemed U.S. president. Nods to the building’s past life as a midcentury car dealership. A gorgeous mural of the Arizona desert in full bloom. Even a retro pizzeria with a speakeasy-style pinball bar.

Then there’s Van Buren’s main draw: its enormous stage, where rock, pop, indie, hip-hop and EDM acts light up the 1,800-person main room multiple nights a week.

The Van Buren debuted in 2017 after veteran Arizona concert promoter Charlie Levy teamed up with Live Nation and rehabbed the circa-1929 Phoenix Motor Company building. The result: an impeccably designed venue named for President Martin Van Buren with polished charm, killer acoustics and fantastic sightlines.

The Van Buren quickly cemented its status as a live music hotspot, a reputation it maintains to this day. This year’s already delivered banger shows from the likes of Pixies, K.Flay, Cavalera and Denzel Curry. The rest of the lineup- which includes Modest Mouse, Niko Moon, Cuco and d4vd -looks just as stacked. Here’s a look at every upcoming concert at The Van Buren in 2025.
