Back in the day (read: the mid-1990s), one of the pimpest places to dance up a storm to goth, industrial, and alternative tracks was the old Atomic Café in Scottsdale, which has since become rock club Chasers. DJ Ricky D and Reverend Dale are reviving the spirit of the bygone club over Memorial Day weekend with Atomic Night on Sunday, May 29. Tranzylvania’s DJ AKA and Noiz.Fkr will be the special guests at the event, which takes place at Anderson’s Fifth Estate, 6820 East Fifth Street in Scottsdale, and features a fierce selection of classic alternative, aggro industrial, old school EBM, and ’80s darkwave all night. Doors open at 9 p.m. with a $5 cover. Call 480-994-5176.
