How much brass can you handle? If you think whiny trumpets, throaty trombones, and snappy snare drums are the bee's-knees, well then you might want to jive your way down to The Lost Leaf to catch Phoenix's Bad Cactus Brass Band later this week.

On Thursday, July 28, the New Orleans style jazz band will cram an assortment of instruments, as well as themselves, into the small playing space the Leaf offers. With a reputation for playing loud parade-like shows, the band should provide enough ruckus to keep your feet tapping through out the night. Follow the jump to see a video of the band playing the Star Wars Cantina song at last years Phoenix Comicon as well as more details about the event.

As always at The Lost Leaf, the show is free of charge and for the 21 and over crowd only.

Expect the music to start around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at Lost Leaf, 914 N. Fifth Street.
