Beastie Boys Release 'Fight For Your Right Revisited' in Full

The Beastie Boys' bombass release of their short film Fight For Your Right Revisited is finally here, according to Consequence of Sound. Is it just as good as you imagined it would be? No, because it's even better.

There is a lot of rapping, a ton of celebrity cameos, and most of all, there is a lot of DGAFing on the parts of all six actors who play the Beastie Boys throughout the film as well as a bunch of other people. Chloe Sevigny smashes Elijah Wood's (Ad-Rock) head with a champagne bottle and stabs him while they're making out in a limo, plus Will Ferrell plays a cowbell and the older and younger versions of the Beastie Boys have a face-off with each other. And that's only the first half.

They really knew the meaning of "go big or go home" on this project, and go big they did. Even though the short film seems somewhat low budget, it's another Beastie Boys creative masterpiece. Better yet, it's one of the better methods of album promotion that any artist has utilized lately.
