Local producerAaron Roberts
released a tricky little EP of booty shaking house beats calledHip-Hop Stop
on Nashville label Photo Records this week. The "hip-hop" reference is deceiving - this is bass-heavy house with chopped-up vocals and dancefloor cuts. Not really the sort of thing I rock down at home, but given enough alcohol/drugs and scantilly dressed ladies, I could probably wiggle my ass to it. Check out the excerpts.
