New Year’s Eve in Phoenix is always a big deal, and for good reason. It’s your last chance to let loose and everyone is eager to send out the year in style.

The good news? There is no shortage of places to do so.

The Valley comes alive with celebrations at bars, nightclubs and other venues, each catering to a specific taste. The selection runs the gamut from high-style soirees at hotels to block parties, costume balls and concerts. There are even family-friendly events and a few arty gatherings take place.

New Years Eve 2025 with A-Trak and N2N

Walter Where?House, 702 N. 21st Ave.
Expect all the nightlife thrills and arty verve flair Walter Where?House is known for — enormous art cars, dazzling laser lights and boundless creative expression — at its annual New Year’s Eve celebration. Fool's Gold co-founder and electro-house superstar A-Trak will headline with support from Brooklyn-based DJ and producer N2N. Doors are at 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 on the day of the event.

Gatsby's House NYE

Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 100 N. First St.
This annual party takes several pages from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” and promises to be just as posh and decadent as the novel. Highlights include hand-passed appetizers from 8 to 10 p.m., multiple bars, party favors, dancing and a midnight countdown. Roaring ’20s attire is encouraged, and tickets include two drinks to keep the celebration flowing. General admission is $53.55 to $109 and VIP tickets start at $135.

NYE Block Party

Valley Bar, 130 N. Central Ave.
The resident DJs from Valley Bar’s biggest dance events will team up for its annual New Year’s Eve block party. DJ Javin from Most Necessary Hip-Hop and Tempo’s DJ J3 will spin tracks on an outdoor stage in the alley. Inside, Earthsurfaceopen and 130 Club’s J-Me Lee and Pootiecat will take over the decks. Lit Lighting will provide the visuals and the music starts at 8 p.m. Advance tickets are $45.

POSH Phoenix New Years Eve 2025 Party

Caesars Republic Scottsdale Hotel, 4747 N. Goldwater Blvd., Scottsdale
This high-style affair in the Romulus Ballroom and around the Cleopatra Pool will offer four-hour prepaid drinks, hot spins from DJ Damien and DJ Nick, complimentary hors d'oeuvres from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m., multiple areas to mingle and other perks. The party begins at 9 p.m. Upscale cocktail or semi-formal attire is required. Tickets are $169 for general admission and VIP packages start at $239.

Pop A Top Rockin' Western New Year's Eve Spectacular

The Dirty Drummer, 2303 N. 44th St.
Tip your hat to 2024 at The Dirty Drummer’s southern-fried shindig. The lineup includes performances by four country bands, including The Tone Slingers from L.A., Eddie Clendening and the Blue Ribbon Boys and local favorites Woody Rambell and the Wrecks. The boot-scootin’ begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25, with table reservations available for $40.

Stardust New Year’s Eve Bash

W Scottsdale, 7277 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale
This stylish indoor and outdoor soiree at the W Scottsdale promises luxe libations, live entertainment, DJs and a midnight fireworks show. Tickets start at $50.

Decadence Arizona 2024

Phoenix Raceway, 7602 Jimmie Johnson Blvd., Avondale
Looking for the biggest New Year’s Eve celebration in the Valley? This two-night electronic dance music festival at Phoenix Raceway on Monday and Tuesday is a top contender. More than 50,000 people will attend both nights of Decadence Arizona 2024, which will feature vendors, a silent disco, roaming performers, sets by superstar DJs and producers and a midnight countdown by John Summit on NYE. Headliners include Deadmau5, Excision, Dom Dolla, ARMNHMR, Deorro, Dog Eat Dog and Dr. Fresch. Gates open at 6 p.m. each night. General admission starts at $144.99 to $169 per night and VIP tickets start at $279 to $299 per night.

The Underground with Flavor Flav

Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass, 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler
Relive the golden age of hip-hop history when the legendary Flavor Flav of Public Enemy, Kurtis Blow, The Furious 5 and Sugarhill Gang take the stage at this New Year’s Eve concert and celebration. Start time is 9 p.m. Tickets are $59 to $89.

Blue Year's Eve Party

Rhythm Room, 1019 E. Indian School Road
Bring 2024 to a close with the bluesmen of the Jimi Primetime Smith/Bob Corritore Blues Band. They’ll be joined onstage by Nick Armendariz, Yahni Riley and Johnny Rapp and special guest Carla Denise. Doors are at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35.

New Year's Eve Homie Show

Yucca Tap Room, 29 W. Southern Ave., Tempe
Spend the waning hours of 2024 in the pit during this locals-only punk rock free-for-all headlined by The Venomous Pinks. The rest of the lineup will feature TV Tragedy, Liar’s Handshake, Manicdotes, Braincake, Swigfoot, Squared and Critical Miss. The show is at 9 p.m. and tickets are $15.

NYE Labyrinth Masquerade Ball

Thunderbird Lounge, 710 W. Montecito Ave.
Dance like you're in the Goblin King's castle at this costumed affair inspired by 1986’s “Labyrinth.” The Thunderbird will be transformed into an immersive experience, with glittering decorations throughout the lounge and patio. DJ Rad Dude will spin ’80s classics while Cleodora dazzles with burlesque artistry and contortionist feats. Costumes, masks, and formal wear are encouraged. The ball begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but online RSVPs are requested.

NYE 2025: Midnight in Miami

Bodega, 6751 N. Sunset Blvd., #110, Glendale
This Cuban-inspired eatery and nightspot in Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District is promising “Miami vibes, late-night energy and a free champagne toast to kiss 2024 goodbye” at its New Year’s Eve celebration. Patrons are asked to “dress to impress.” Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event.

Pratt Brothers New Year’s Eve

Rawhide Western Town, 5700 W. North Loop Road, Chandler
Kyle and Sammy Pratt’s massive holiday attraction at Rawhide will host a family-friendly New Year’s Eve extravaganza that’s big on spectacle. Enjoy train rides, a falling snow experience and glowing displays with more than 7 million lights. Live entertainment includes Taylor Swift and George Strait tribute artists, as well as an action-packed Western stunt show. The evening caps off with a midnight countdown, boot drop and fireworks show. Gates open at 5 p.m. General admission is $30 for adults and $20 for kids. VIP tickets are $75 for adults and $45 for kids.
