Logan Howard (a.k.a. DJ Element) has cooler friends than you’ll ever have. Among his plethora of pals are a slew of artists, rappers, and turntablists, all of whom can transform an ordinary club into a playa’s paradise filled with phat beats and hip-hop treats. And they’re doing just that during the monthly Boom Boom Room session on Friday, February 27, at Club Red, 2155 East University Drive in Tempe. Element’s gathering a crew of his closest DJ buds — including K. Supreme, Iron Giant, Reflekshin, and Emgee — to spin off-the-hook genres ranging from hip-hop to drum ‘n’ bass. Houston spinster savant DJ Rockwell will be the special guest for the evening, and is sure to put on a turntablism clinic for everyone in attendance.
