Bubble Bobble 5 @ Arizona Event Center

Typically, there are four things your average electronic dance music aficionado wants out of a rave experience: top-shelf DJs; music that's loud, fast, and hard; sufficient room for dancing; and plenty of bodies to grind against. This weekend's Bubble Bobble 5 will offer all those things in abundance, plus a bikini contest for gift cards and plenty of other fun. Millions of tiny bubbles will fill the Arizona Event Center, 1300 South Country Club Drive in Mesa, and cover attendees of the EDM massive and gigantic foam party that takes place on Saturday, March 23. As a stunningly vibrant light show reflects off all the soapsuds, special guests DJ Breeze, Klubfiller, and DJ HK, all of whom hail from the UK, will keep things popping as they serve up hardcore, hard dance, and other intense electronic genres bumping in excess of 180 B.P.M. Others scheduled to appear during the all-night event include Florida psychedelic trance star Krikett, happy hardcore practitioner Flapjack, and electro-house ace Chris Smooth. As always, a cadre of local DJs and artists will also perform, including Nuck 'n' Futz, Spyder, CIK, Inertia, Sesso, and others. Doors open at 7 p.m. General admission is $20, VIP access is $35.
