The folks down at the Lost Leaf have an offer that local punk fans surely can't refuse. Namely, the downtown Phoenix beer and wine parlor is hosting a rare solo performance tonight by hardcore punk icon Kevin Seconds tonight. And guess what? It's absotively, posilutely free.
The Seven Seconds frontman (and longtime hero to the straight-edge crowd) has been doing non-stop solo acoustic gigs across the country over the past year, and its swinging through Arizona on his way back home to Sacremento, California. Also performing unplugged at tonight's gig will be fellow Sac-Town punker Kepi Ghoulie (formerly of the Groovie Ghoulies), who has been accompanying Seconds on his current tour.
The music starts at 8:30 p.m. and the Lost Leaf is located at 914 North Fifth Street, just south of Roosevelt. Call 602-258-0014 for more info.
