So after a million different holiday functions (we come from a broken family – it tends to extend such celebrations), we needed something to break up the wholesome time. And with time running out for the long weekend, we decided to check out Jared Alan’s new dance/dj night, Cheap Thrills, on Saturday, December 27th at Black Forest Mill.
Set in the Arcadia neighborhood, the venue is pure perfection for this kind of thing. With a huge dance floor and plenty of bar space, all needs were met. We saw some familiar faces – mugs we haven’t laid eyes on since Glam closed so many months ago. The gang was back together again and we can’t wait to do it all over in January, as Cheap Thrills continues every last Saturday of the month.
