We’ve gone to a number of these lovely parties and this time, we were particularly impressed with the way it all came together. The theme, inspired by Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art’s current exhibition, “Radical Lace and Subversive Knitting” was all about sewing, knitting and all the things one can do with fibers in fashion.

Fibers and sewing? Hmmm. This sounds familiar…

As usual, SMoCA Nights is always the perfect excuse to throw on a dress. There was plenty of that, sure. But we’re thinking the theme got some folks feeling a little uppity when they wandered into their closets that night. Wardrobe highlights include thigh high leopard print boots and a shit-ton of jingly jangly accessories. Love it.
