Concert news: Bacharach canceled, new shows announced

The Burt Bacharach concert at Orpheum Theatre scheduled for Sunday, September 28 has been cancelled, LiveNation announced today. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

The Burt Bacharach concert at Orpheum Theatre scheduled for Sunday, September 28 has been cancelled, LiveNation announced today. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

The composer, known for hits like “I say a little prayer” and “Raindrops keep falling on my head” was to play in support of his new album, At This Time.

It’s the area’s second major concert cancellation this week: The Black Crowes show at Mesa Arts Center was scratched Tuesday.

See Kansas City’s best rap acts on Oct. 23 as The Strictly Strange Tour featuring Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Kitt Calhoun, Prozak, Skatterman & Snug Brim, Grave Plott, Intrinzik, & Jizz Hornay comes to the Marquee Theatre. Tickets are $27-$30.

Suicidal Tendencies Nov. 26

Veteran heavy metal/hardcore band Suicidal Tendencies: comes to the Marquee Theatre with Terror, & Whole Wheat Bread on Nov. 26. Tickets are $22-$25.
