Martin started spinning records back in ’86 — nearly two decades ago — and in the interim he’s held court at practically every legendary venue on both sides of the Atlantic, including Twilo, Tunnel, Roxy, Cream the list goes on and on.
Martin recently dropped Sublevel: True School, a mix CD on Majestic Recordings that features tracks by Rob Mello, Swirl People, Raw Vibe and more. Check out his skills on Wednesday, July 21, when he’ll be manning the tables at Pete “Supermix” Salaz’s Batucada night at Next in Scottsdale (7111 East 5th Avenue). Batucada is a 21 and over weekly event, and the cover charge is $3 (free before 10:30 p.m.) Doors open at 9 p.m.
