DJ Reflekshin

It's apparently been en vogue lately to jump from Stray Cat Bar & Grill in Tempe to Jugheads. The first to flee was DJ Johnny Volume, who moved his popular BANNED night to the east Phoenix punk bar in March. And now it looks as though DJ Refkekshin's made the move as well. The 27-year-old turntablist, who used to work the wheels of steel at Stray Cat's weekly Gallery Blu re:DEF hip-hop joint, has flipped the script and is now dropping his mix of funk, soul, electro, urban hits, and rap anthems every Tuesday at Jugheads, 5110 East McDowell Road. Meanwhile, the bar will be serving $2 wells and domestic drafts, $3 Coronas or vodka and Red Bulls, and $4 premium drafts. The music starts at 10 p.m. and there's no cover.
