Mesa Amphitheatre comes by its iconic status in metro Phoenix’s concert scene honestly after decades of loud, sweaty and unforgettable gigs.
Since the late ’70s, the landmark open-air venue in downtown Mesa has doubled as a platform and proving ground where legends and locals alike have rattled the desert air.
For generations of local concertgoers, seeing a show at Mesa Amp has been a bucket-list experience. Maybe your parents saw Frank Zappa melting minds under the stars. Your older sibling might’ve caught The Clash or Elvis Costello tearing it up before you were born.
Name a scene or a sound, and Mesa Amphitheatre has hosted it. Folk and punk. Metal and classic rock. Even entire symphony orchestras.

These days, Mesa Amphitheatre is a 4,250-person outdoor venue steeped in stripped-down charm, right down to the bougainvillea bushes lining the back wall. Its iconic band shell still delivers strong, sharp acoustics across the terraced lawn, where crowds pack in as touring acts roll through on the regular.
Mesa Amp’s strength each year is measured by the quality and draw of its schedule. In recent years, the venue has typically hosted around a dozen shows annually.
So far, the 2026 concert lineup is modest but has some big names in the mix, including guitar heroes Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, Grammy-winning R&B standout Ella Mai, ’80s favorites The Human League and EDM duo Zeds Dead.
Here’s a complete list of every concert coming to Mesa Amphitheatre in 2026.
