Flashback Friday: Blind Melon Reminded You To "Bee" Yourself

Arguably one of the best things to come out of last night's American Idol episode was the emergence of a video on Yahoo! that Jennifer Lopez beau Casper Smart appeared in back in 2009.

The loose-limbed dancer starred as a dancing bee in the Haagen-Dazs produced video in an effort to raise awareness over the declining honey bee population. Besides the insanely cool cause, the video got us thinking of another memorable bee performance from the '90s.

Heather DeLoach was only 10-years-old when she donned the yellow and black tutu that would forever associate her with Blind Melon's 1993 music video for "No Rain." Here's a look back at the classic music video, as well as Smart's krumpin' moves.

The original "bee girl" from the band's cover art is actually a flick of drummer Glen Graham's younger sister in 1975.
