Life’s been pretty sweet for DJ Tranzit lately, and here’s why: The 29-year-old’s collaborative EP with DJ Dooz (Nothing but a Dancer) recently dropped on German EDM label 12.inch.recordings, his release party at the Crown Room last week was attended by more than a hundred, and he’s been booked as an opener for ATB at Myst this Saturday. Tranzit’s also got a new weekly gig at Cin Cin Bistro, 4425 North Buckboard Trail in Scottsdale, called Fresh Friday Nights. Along with DJ Lujan and weekly guests like Tucson’s R’Mani (who stops by on Friday, February 12), he’ll spin up house, minimal techno, and “anything else electronic” until 4 a.m. at the chic eatery. The music starts at 10 p.m. and there’s no cover. Call 480-947-2932.
