According to this Facebook event page, West Coast rapper Game is set to appear at Tempe’s School of Rock on Saturday night.
The info states that 101.5 Jams will be on hand, and DJ Mikee will be spinning, as well as promising appearances from Nu Jerzey Devil, Brannu Legit and the “whole Blackwallstreet crew.”
After talking with the folks at School of rock, the party is indeed on, though the ticket listing curiously make reference Game’s new album, The R.E.D. Album, “killing it in stores,” despite the fact that the album hasn’t yet been released.
Game (formerly The Game, natch) rose to fame as a member of G-Unit, and his solo albums, The Documentary, Doctor’s Advocate and LAX have all been enormously successful.
Along the way, he’s managed to beef with nearly everyone, from Lil’ Eazy-E, Suge Knight, the Roc-A-Fella crew and even his old pals in G-Unit.
Expect Mill Ave. to be popping off Saturday night for this event.
Here’s the first single from the R.E.D. Album.
