George Clinton, The Nadas and Pink Floyd Laser Light Announced

By Martin Cizmar

So there's a little big of a letdown this week after last week's bonanza of concert announcements, but still a few good shows coming up.

At the top of the list is a huge party coming to Marquee: Parliament Funkadelic with George Clinton on Jan. 7. Sadly, Dr. Funkenstein, no longer emerges from the Mothership, as that expensive part of the stage show was scrapped in the 90s, thus depriving us of what might be called The Awesome Power of a Fully Operational Mothership, but it's still quite a show.

Here's my favorite ever appearance of the Mothership, in Dre's "Let me Ride" video (3:40 in) and the rest of your show announcements.
