Glendale Fest Benefiting Military Families Scheduled for April 11

Festival season is officially upon us -- with Country Thunder and Tempe Music Festival next weekend, and McDowell Mountain Music Fest later in April -- and we've got one more to add to your calender. Clean Slate Celebration in Glendale April 11 is a benefit for Murray Grey Foundation, which provides money to military families facing home foreclosure as well as emergency food, clothing, utility payments, transportation, home repairs, etc. for military families in need.

The fest is at Hell's Half Acre in the Westgate City Center in Glendale. Doors open at noon with a $10 cover for anyone not in the military. LA's CheckpointCharlie is on the bill, along with Capital Down, CTS and others. If all that isn't enough, Dale Earnhardt Junior's #3 NASCAR will be on display. Sounds like a good day in Glendale.
