Anyone want to check out a 25-year-old satirical metal band, complete with scary costumes and raunchy lyrics? Well, you’re in luck. Gwar is coming to The Marquee Theatre on Friday, November 2.

Following the passing of guitarist Cory Smoot late last year the future of Gwar was uncertain, but the band has soldiered on, and for those attending the show, expect nothing but sheer entertainment.

I’m excited to check out Tav Falco’s Panther Burns at The Rhythm Room on Monday, October 8. This Tennessee band has been fusing rokcabilly, blues, and country for nearly three decades. The venue size should make for an awesomely intimate and entertaining performance.
