$10,000

The turntablists are definitely gonna be out in force on Monday, December 31 (a.k.a. New Year’s Eve), as nearly every DJ worth his or her weight in used vinyl has some sort of wax-working session planned for Auld Lang Syne. But if you can’t get into any of the bigger bashes — like William Fucking Reed’s extravaganza at the Rogue Bar or Myst’s ultra-swank Burlesque Ball — head over to Homme, 138 West Camelback Road, where some of the PHX’s finest phonographic freaks will fete the end of 2007 with an orgy of electronic dance music. The gig’s guaranteed to have more beats getting thrown around than in Amy Winehouse’s tumultuous marriage, with a stacked selection of spinsters — including DJs Spyder, Jared, Shane Jacot, Abstrakt, Matty vs. Metatron, Steve Edwards vs. Jonah Gabriel, and Luminous vs. Jeff Trevors — rocking the decks both upstairs and downstairs at the bi-level bar. The music flows from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m., and admission is $10 pre-sale, $12 at the door. (The upstairsBAR also reopens at 6 a.m. with even more DJs, just in case you think sleep is for pussies.) Call 602-234-3023.
