Satellite radio personality Howard Stern had a little fun with Phoenix pop-punkers The Heartless earlier this week.
Lead singer Abe Schmidt and guitarist Jeff Tretta played the song “Just to Be” on Stern’s show to win a $5,000 prize. It wasn’t quite that simple, of course. Stern attached a microphone to the penis of one of his standard associates, Sal, and called the whole thing “Cockaoke.” I’m happy to say our boys handled the penis like pros.
Video of the whole sordid incident below. Oh, and here’s the song, sans penis. It’s not a bad little ditty at all. The band has a show Tuesday night at Scottsdale’s Chyro Arts with Ultra Violent Lights (former meber of Fenix Tx).
