I know, I know -- you're looking at that headline and thinking to yourself, "Well how is he gonna shine this turd new show announcements?" I won't lie -- I can't really. You Hang Up is finally playing a show, but all that jazz was taken care of last week. Sufjan Stevens announced he's playing Mesa today -- also taken care of. Yet I must soldier on.

I watched the beginning of Extreme Movie this weekend for reasons beyond my control and that Malcolm in the Middle sure is a skinny little dude. I know he was probably an adorable little boy when he started that show, but damn that Muniz is one homely dude. I'm just saying...

Well, there's Sara Bareilles -- whose name I still don't know how to properly pronounce -- and Bad Religion, whose members are all in their mid-to-late 40s. It seems like all Tech N9ne does these days is tour, but hey -- angry, jaded white kids need their release every once in a while.

So there you have it -- truly a motley crüe crew of just announced shows. Aren't we entering the dog days of summer? You could have fooled me with this list of shows.
