Some regard routine as boring, but not the rock band Incubus. Its members subscribe to the belief that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The band — singer Brendan Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, new bassist Ben Kenney, DJ Chris Kilmore and drummer Jose Pasillas — has maintained its performance and songwriting rhythm for its 13-year career.

Playing with my friends, watching everyone grow and get better at their instruments and grow as people, it’s been cool. It’s been fun. It’s been a great experience for all of us. We still enjoy it to this day. Hopefully we’ll do it for double the amount of time.”
