Skankstress Katy Perry just announced a tour date for Phoenix’s Comerica Theatre on August 3.
It’s part of a “California Dreams” tour that starts on June 7 in Atlanta and runs through August 14, the second show in Katy’s hometown Santa Barbara, California. Tickets, priced pretty modestly at $30-48, go on sale Saturday, January 29 through Livenation — sales are expected to be Popsicle-melting hot.
Here’s an interesting side note: The show is presented by Schick® Quattro for Women® “the high performance four-blade razors that provide such long-lasting smooth skin, you could skip a day or two.”
As things currently stand, it’s the most advanced (or at least bladeyest) razor on the market!
And the makers of this fine product want so desperately to have you associate it with Katy Perry’s smooth legs and presumably neatly-trimmed (though usually not-quite-visible) cooch that they’re underwriting her jaunt across the country. Awesome.
