In 1975, Kraftwerk brought their unique brand of electronic music to the U.S. for the very first time. Now, five decades later, they'll do it again with a brand-new North American tour.

The April 14 show at Phoenix's Orpheum Theatre is one of several new West Coast dates just added to the MULTIMEDIA TOUR 2025. That jaunt comes after last year's nine-night concert series in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the band's seminal fourth album, "Autobahn." Press for the tour calls those shows a "a compass for what’s in store" with the 2025 dates. Kraftwerk shows have also been described as "Gesamtkunstwerk," or a "total work of art." So, expect some glitchy soundscapes, a stellar lights show and the feeling that you're flying into a shimmery but depressive future.

To get an even better idea of this "Gesamtkunstwerk," the band's accompanied today's tour announcement with a special clip from the 2022 documentary "God Said Give ’Em Drum Machines." The band are one of several subjects in the film that tracks the early days of dance music into the global juggernaut that is modern EDM. Feel free to dance at your desk if you feel so inclined.
Tickets are on sale today (Jan. 24) at 10 a.m. local time through kraftwerktour25.com.
