When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? Probably a CD. But if I'm listening to the radio, I always flip through the stations until I find my "pump up song"-the first song has gotta be one I can sing out loud to!
What's the last song played on your portal music player? Britney Spears "Piece of Me"--gotta listen to Britney on the treadmill!
Support the independent voice of Phoenix and
help keep the future of New Times free.
What's the first record you bought? Michael Jackson, Dangerous.
What's the first concert you saw? DC Talk! Old-school Christian alternative (who knows "Jesus Freak"?)
What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Hova, baby! Jay-Z in Miami.
Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? I think Vinyl has to be my forever fave, because it's classic, but I always listen to CDs. I'm so behind in the times. I only have like 10 songs downloaded on my iPhone!
What's your favorite CD? Oh goodness, this is impossible! I have a ton of faves, but right now I've got Eminem's latest Recovery on constant repeat.
Who is your favorite singer or band? Michael Jackson, RIP.
Does you computer track how many times you've played something--if so, what's at the top of the list? My "love song" playlist--a lotta Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey.
What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? Because I'm such a sap, I'm going to make everyone gag and say "Marry Me," by Train. Now if only I could get a man to sing it to me!
Who is your favorite local artist? What Laura Says-super sweet guys. And I can't forget rockstar Alice Cooper! He autographed my Fox10 coffee cup. Total gem, love him!
What is your favorite local venue to see music? In the 4 months that I've lived here, I haven't been out to a concert! The next concert I plan on attending is Lady Gaga at US Airways Center, March 26! Where should I go? Tweet me!
What is your favorite music video? It's a tie between two Michael Jackson videos-"Smooth Criminal" and "Black Or White" (the long version).
