is losing money on her extravagant North American tour (which has so far reportedly overspent more than $3 million), the eccentric pop star has found a new way to reclaim some of her debt: by inking a deal with Polaroid as the camera brand's newest creative director of specialty products.

Sounds like a no-brainer, considering digital cameras have sent the instant-picture camera into obscurity. The trendsetter may be just what the recently bailed-out-of-bankruptcy company needs, and she'll be designing her own line of co-branded products.
Gaga already has her own line of cutesy headphones, called Heartbeats (by Monster), and her fashion and set-design choices are groundbreaking, so it'll be neat to see what kind of concepts she comes up with for the company. She'll be working on both instant-film and digital devices for Polaroid.
In a press release, Gaga stated, "I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and to -- as my father puts it -- finally have a real job." Looks like she has no plans to scale down her massive tour spending.
Expect Gaga-influenced products by the end of the year.
