Lady Gaga has revealed to Neil Strauss that her apartment used to be covered in cocaine and cockroaches, according to NME.

American and Kittian author Neil Strauss's upcoming novel, Everyone Loves You When You're Dead: Journeys Into Fame and Madness, has included exclusive Gaga excerpts in his book. Gaga had a long history with drugs. While she admitted on 60 Minutes to still smoking marijuana, her long history with cocaine usage to inspire her music has been put to an end.

"I didn't have a bad childhood," Gaga said. "All of the things I went through were on my own quest for an artistic journey to fuck myself up like Warhol and Bowie and Mick."

"Sometimes it freaks me out when I think about laying in my apartment with bedbugs and roaches on the floor and mirrors with cocaine everywhere, and no will or interest in doing anything but making music and getting high," she also revealed to Strauss. Wait, isn't that the typical life of an NYU student? At least she has left her coke usage behind.

By the way, Lady Gaga, would you please do us all a favor and stay out of the news for just a week? Do you realize how tired I am of writing about you? Show some consideration for the media!
