After a ton of shenanigans regarding StubHub scalpers and seemingly unexplainable technical TicketMaster difficulties, LCD Soundsystem finally performed their grand farewell show at Madison Square Garden, according to Spinner.
Pitchfork made dreams come true by bringing the unforgettable concert into the homes of online live-streamers on Saturday night.
The show, which had an extensive five-part set, included plenty of cover songs as well as some special guests. Arcade Fire helped out James Murphy and his crew on the song “North American Scum.”
Bravo to James Murphy and his band for perfecting their sub-genre of music and creating a sort of indie legacy for themselves.
Big ups to LCD Soundsystem for knowing that sometimes it’s just best to finish while you’re still ahed.
