With his hipster-clever DJ alias ganked straight from the legendary series of vampire-killing video games, one would think Atlanta mixmaster Le Castle Vania is gonna be hunting down the undead when he visits the Valley on Friday, July 20. In all likelihood, the only nightcrawlers the 24-year-old turntablist will be interacting with will be the glammed-up ghoulies who populate French Kiss every week at Burn, 122 East Washington Street. The weapon of choice for Le Castle Vania (a.k.a. Dylan Eiland) will be the mechanized-sounding and reverb-heavy remixes — laden with electro, indie, and disco — that have helped make him the toast of the Hot Topic crowd and landed him on URB Magazine‘s most recent “Next 1,000” list.
