Lil Wayne will be rooting for the Green Bay Packers in this year’s Super Bowl, according to SPIN.
Weezy’s all about reppin’ the green and yellow, stating in his newly released Wiz Khalifa rip-off “Green and Yellow,” “I’m a cheesehead/Y’all n****s cheese whiz.” He posted the song on his blog Weezy Thanx You yesterday.
With lines like, “We gon’ toast these n*****s, Pop Tarts,” the song certainly is pretty cheesy. Not that I could have written a better song, but come on.
I wonder how Wiz Khalifa feels about this new Packers anthem. The back beat in Weezy’s version is exactly the same as that of the leader of the Taylor Gang.
Could a copyright lawsuit be in the works if Wiz decides he isn’t having any of it? It’s not likely since rappers don’t seem to go crazy over those issues when it comes to sports, but you never know.
