You’ve got to hand it to the people at M3F Fest 2025 in Phoenix.

Locals who came to the springtime music festival at Steele Indian School Park on March 7 and 8 brought an extra spark to the always-eclectic indie rock and electronic dance music event, adding to its colorful atmosphere and effusive energy.

Despite the dark skies, chilly temps and constant rain on opening day, nothing dampened the spirits of the crowd. Many in attendance at M3F on March 7 were determined to soak up the vibes and keep the fun rolling.

Festivalgoers took day one’s miserable weather in stride. Dressed in warm, often vibrant clothing, they huddled at M3F’s four stages or gathered around towering art car Walter the Bus while such acts as Alvvays, Slow Pulp and LCD Soundsystem lit up the park. Some folks also took flow toys for a twirl.

M3F attendees amped up the energy for the music festival’s second day on March 8. Amid sunny and mostly clear skies, folks wandered around the vendor village, lounged on the grass for chillout sessions or danced to the infectious rhythms as EDM artists and bands performed.

Up on the festival’s elevated viewing decks at stages, VIP ticketholders were a party unto themselves as they got closer views of sets by Luna Luna, Sylvan Esso, Girl Talk and co-headliner Justice.

As the sun emerged on day two, so did the bolder outfits and more creative costuming choices adorning festivalgoers: Crop tops and coveralls. Summer wear, fishnets and floral prints. We even  encountered an army of faux astronauts.

Whether relaxing, engaging in social rites or moving to the music, those in attendance at M3F embraced the perfect mix of sunshine, good vibes and incredible performances. Here’s a look at the vibrant crowds at M3F 2025 in Phoenix, captured over two memorable days of music and fun.
