Meet Charlie Brand of Miniature Tigers Tonight at Zia in Chandler

Charlie Brand, lead singer of local indie rock darlings Miniature Tigers, will be departing the Valley tomorrow afternoon for the band's 11-city tour with Ben Folds later this month. But before the singer blows this pop stand, he'll be making a special in-store appearance tonight at Zia Record Exchange's Chandler location, 1940 West Chandler Boulevard.

Brand will be signing advanced copies of the CD version of the Tigers' Tell It To the Volcano, which officially drops on February 17 (the 11-track album has been available online in digital form since September). In addition to giving out his John Hancock, he'll also perform a solo acoustic set at the store.

The signing starts at 7 p.m. Call 480-857-4942 for more info.
