Any excuse for a party, right? Local dance rock institution Hot Pink! is throwing itself a pre-two-year anniversary get-down before its actual two-year birthday party. We like their style. On Friday, August 12, DJ Nimh and his cronies are flying in legendary NYC impresario DJ Michael T., creator of the infamous Motherfucker parties, for what they promise will be the biggest and craziest Hot Pink! ever. Save a little of your energy for the actual two-year anniversary on August 26, though. The madness goes down at 1724 East McDowell Road, admission is six bucks, 21-and-over revelers can party all night, while the 18-and-over crowd is welcome from 2 to 4 a.m.
