Phantom Planet guitarist Darren Robinson, who recently took over on guitar in the local indie rock outfit Miniature Tigers is offering video chat guitar lessons, according to a bulletin he posted via Phantom Planet’s MySpace Page.
Robinson says in the bulletin that he works with beginners or intermediate players and can teach burgeoning guitarists songs they love, basic theory, scale and chords. Students must have high-speed Internet, an acoustic or electric guitar and a web cam to utilize for video chatting. Lessons are $30 for a 45-minute lesson and Robinson promises that his hours are flexible.
Check out Robinson’s MySpace Page for for more information or see him in action with Miniature Tigers Friday, May 15at the PHiX Gallery where the band will open for Kevin Devine.
