NBA YoungBoy just added a slew of new dates to his MASA TOUR. The rapper already has a Phoenix date on the books – September 15 at PHX Arena. Now, a second stop at Desert Diamond Arena on November 6 is an option for fans, too.
The MASA portion of the tour title stands for Make America Slime Again and plays on the current president’s slogan. That’s not the only way the two intersect.
Recently, Donald Trump pardoned the Louisiana-born rapper, whose name is Kentrell Gaulden, who was serving a 23-month sentence on gun-related charges. He was sentenced in 2024 to federal prison. The pardon puts his sentence to bed, as he was released with credit for time served.
He issued a statement online that outlines his feelings on the matter. “I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building – as a man, as a father, and as an artist.”

Snoop Dogg, with whom YoungBoy has collaborated, told TMZ Hip Hop how he sees parallels between YoungBoy and himself from 30 years ago. Snoop got a lot of fans riled up when he played Trump’s Crypto Ball in early 2025.
With this legal situation in his rearview, the Grammy nominee and Billboard chart topper is free to head out on the lengthy show run. Special guests on the tour include DeeBaby, EBK Jaaybo and K.
