Until recently, the dance floor at the opulent-yet-ookie nightspot Palazzo, 710 North Central Avenue, was solely the domain of the gothy boys and ghouls who turned out on Fridays in droves for Tranzylvania, where they’d thrash about until the wee hours to murky darkwave and nihilistic anthems. But now these fetishistic freaks get to share the joint with the Hispanic hotness of Latin Ladies Night, where the muy caliente beats and bumps of artists like Daddy Yankee and Hector El Father are standard fare. Every Thursday night, the turntablist trio of DJ Daffy, DJ Kyko, and DJ Big Latin (pictured) are on the ones and twos, spinning up hours of reggaeton, cumbias, rock en español, and other Latin jams for patrons to shake their culo to. Power 98.3 weekend jock Gio (a.k.a. “the Black Latino”) also serves as host and emcee of the evening. Doors open at 9 p.m. with a $5 cover. Call 602-229-1150.
